Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, LMFT107806
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT 107806) in San Diego. I specialize in collaborating with my clients to identify and problem solve how to get through life's challenges. As a therapist I strive to understand your story with kindness, an open mind and compassion. I will both encourage you and challenge you along the way while empowering you to make choices that are in line with your values.
I specialize in working with children and teens that struggle with a variety of issues from anxiety, depression, substance use, anger management, peer relationship difficulties and low self-esteem. I also enjoy working with adults going through various life transitions such as starting college or a new career, relationship loss, and family transitions.
I have extensive experience working within the school systems as an Educationally Related Mental Health Therapist and many years of experience working with children, teens and their families. I received my Masters in Science with a concentration in Counseling at San Diego State University. In my clinical practice I use evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness.
My experience consists of work at Center for Community Counseling and Engagement, SDSU’s Counseling and Psychological Services, San Diego Center for Children, and Vista Hill Foundation.
