Brittney Krier, APCC
Registered Associate Professional Clinical Counselor
Supervised by Shannel Ezedi, LPCC
Hi, I’m Brittney and I am an Associate Professional Counselor (APCC13747), under the supervision of Shannel Ezedi, LPCC (LPCC19030). I have a Masters in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Counseling, and Marriage and Family Therapy from National University.
Clinical Experience
I have extensive experience supporting individuals navigating trauma, substance use challenges, and life transitions. My therapeutic style is warm, compassionate, and nonjudgmental—I believe in creating a safe space where healing can begin, hope can grow, and joy can return.
I take a creative, client-centered approach to therapy, tailoring each session to meet your unique needs while grounding my work in evidence-based practices. I often integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based interventions. I also specialize in Mindfulness-Oriented Recovery Enhancement (M.O.R.E.) and hypnotherapy to help clients connect more deeply with themselves and move toward meaningful change.
My goal is not only to help you process pain, but also to rediscover your strengths, resilience, and capacity for joy. I believe that laughter, connection, and even small moments of lightness can play an important role in recovery and growth.
I enjoy working with people from all walks of life and am proud to be an ally to the LGBTQ+ community. No matter where you are in your journey, you will be met with respect, acceptance, and genuine care. Together, we can build a path forward that honors who you are and supports who you want to become.
