Carlos Moreno, LCSW
Licensed Clinical Social Worker LCSW115286

Hola, I’m Carlos Moreno, LCSW a Licensed Clinical Social Worker ( LCSW115286).  Marine Corps Veteran with 2 combat deployments, who believes that people generally have the answers to their own issues, and I get to partner along to support their discovery. Therapy to me is an exploration through the woods and to make it out we’re going to need each other. I like to engage in a client centered approach, believing the client is the expert on their own lives. I use strengths-based modalities, including Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.

Clinical Experiences

My clinical background runs a spectrum of populations: veterans, substance addiction, unhoused, undocumented, adolescents, families, adults with severe mental illness, juveniles and adults on probation and parole.  The clients I have partnered with in the past were working through issues of Anxiety, Depression, schizoaffective disorder, schizophrenia, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). My strengths are relating and developing strong rapport with adults and adolescent males.
