Registered Psychological Associate

Supervised by Tanya Hilber, PsyD, PMH-C PSY24479

Hello and Hafa adai! I’m a Registered Psychological Associate (PSB94028318) supervised by Dr. Tanya Hilber (PSY24479). I have a doctorate degree in psychology from California Southern University, where my dissertation focused on parental stress. I grew up in Guam as an Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI), which gave me a deep appreciation for how cultural values shape the way we understand and talk about mental health. I’m bilingual in English and Tagalog, and I aim to make therapy a space where clients feel understood, respected, and empowered.

My personal life has shaped my perspective. I know the challenges of supporting a spouse who was an Army combat veteran with deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. I also understand the joys and struggles of parenting a neurodiverse child with autism and ADHD. These experiences help me bring empathy, patience, and real-world understanding to my clinical work.

Clinical Experience

My clinical experience includes working with individuals facing anxiety, depression, ADHD, parenting, women’s issues, grief, and life stressors. I draw on evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT). My style is collaborative and encouraging, with a focus on helping individuals uncover their strengths and take meaningful steps toward their goals. I provide therapy exclusively through telehealth for clients in California. Telehealth offers a safe, flexible, and accessible space for our work together.

Outside of my clinical work, I enjoy reading novels, photography, and traveling. My family and I have been fortunate to explore over 30 countries together—experiences that have broadened my understanding of people, cultures, and resilience across the world.
