Dr. Hilber is the founder and owner of Hilber Psychological Services, a group private practice providing comprehensive, evidence-based mental health services. She is also deeply involved in nonprofit leadership and community outreach. In 2022, she played a key role in the merger of the San Diego Center for Neurofeedback with the San Diego Center for Counseling, resulting in the formation of San Diego Therapy Center, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. Dr. Hilber currently serves as Executive Director of Neurofeedback and Vice President of the Board, supporting the organization’s mission to expand access to high-quality mental health and neurofeedback services for underserved populations.
Clinical Experience
Dr. Hilber brings broad clinical expertise in the assessment and treatment of children, adolescents, and adults. She is a Certified Perinatal Mental Health Professional (PMH-C) and has extensive experience supporting individuals and families navigating perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, parenting challenges, and life transitions.
Her clinical work encompasses the treatment of ADHD, anxiety disorders, autism spectrum conditions, depression, trauma-related concerns, behavioral challenges, and stress-related difficulties. She has a strong background in trauma-informed care and developmentally informed interventions, with particular experience working with children and teens.
Dr. Hilber also has specialized training in neurofeedback. She co-founded the San Diego Center for Neurofeedback (SDCNF) in 2013, which became San Diego Therapy Center, where she provided non-medication-based neurofeedback services focused on improving physiological self-regulation, reducing symptoms, and enhancing overall functioning. Her neurofeedback work has been particularly impactful for youth experiencing trauma, ADHD, anxiety, behavioral concerns, and autism spectrum disorders.
Across all roles, Dr. Hilber integrates clinical rigor with compassionate care, emphasizing ethical practice, individualized treatment planning, and long-term therapeutic outcomes.
