Juliet Berardinelli, AMFT
Registered Associate Marriage & Family Therapist

Supervised by Theresa Martinez, LMFT

Hello and welcome! I’m a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT #160600), supervised by Theresa Martinez, LMFT (#131771). I hold a bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Research Studies from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where I focused on the intersection of psychology and sociology. I also earned a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy from Antioch University Santa Barbara. My therapeutic approach is person-centered and integrative, tailored to meet each client’s unique needs. I believe the client-therapist relationship is at the heart of healing and I strive to create a space where clients feel supported, understood, and respected. Grounded in CBT and family systems theory, I work alongside my clients to identify patterns, challenge unhelpful beliefs, and strengthen relationships, always with the understanding that we are a team and I am firmly on their side.

Clinical Experience

I have experience working in school-based and residential settings with at-risk youth, families and adults. My work includes supporting parents who have experienced domestic violence and providing therapy for children navigating trauma, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), anxiety, and emotional regulation challenges. When working with children, I collaborate closely with parents and caregivers, offering psychoeducation and support to help reinforce healing and growth both inside and outside of the therapy room. Supporting clients with OCD is a primary passion of mine. I have worked with children with OCD in school-based settings and with adults with OCD in a residential treatment setting using evidence-based approaches. In my role as a residential counselor, I also supported adults living with severe mental health conditions, including schizophrenia, bipolar I disorder, schizoaffective disorder, and major depressive disorder, always approaching each individual with care, respect, and understanding. Above all, I strive to create a supportive, compassionate space where clients and families feel heard, understood, and empowered. I believe meaningful change happens through collaboration, trust, and meeting each client where they are.
