Talia Morrison a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT82998) with more than 15 years of private practice and non-profit experience working with youth, couples, and families who have experienced relationship challenges, trauma, grief and loss, caring for family members with mental health or developmental and intellectual disabilities, as well as addiction and recovery from substance use disorders. Talia’s joy in this work includes helping clients restore connections and offering hope through teaching and encouraging the creation of critical shifts that lead to meaningful transformations.
Clinical Experience
Through the use of Attachment Theory and Emotionally Focused Therapy, as well as drawing from Jungian Psychology, Solution-Focused training, and Grief and Bereavement psychotherapy, Talia has had the honor to help individuals move through difficult life experiences and discover a new sense of balance and purpose. Talia also looks to holistic practices such as body wellness, artistic expression, and investment in health as key interventions in the process of change.
In addition to direct care, Talia also gets to work alongside new clinicians in the field, providing clinical supervision and guiding development of psychotherapeutic practice. This is a beloved part of Talia’s work, bearing witness to and holding space for new clinicians to flourish.
