Yasmine Willis Fernandez, LMFT
Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist

Welcome! My name is Yasmine (Yaz-meen) Willis Fernandez, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, LMFT #161364. My practice includes cultivating a warm and inviting space together that will allow us to venture into new possibilities of being. I value the diverse social and cultural backgrounds, experiences, and knowledge you and your loved ones bring into our shared space. When not providing therapy, I enjoy playing video games, listening to music, journaling, spending time with my community, and playing with my dachshund Milo!

Clinical Experience

With compassion, cultural humility, curiosity, and understanding, I am passionate to support children, teens, adults, and families navigating life challenges, anxiety, depression, stress management, grief/bereavement, relational stressors, identity exploration, and much more.

My work is primarily guided by a person-centered, trauma-informed, and strengths-based approach and I integrate Narrative Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) that is tailored to meet your needs. I prioritize working in a collaborative approach that respects what and how you share, working at a pace that honors each person’s capacity, providing room so that you feel comfortable to allow someone new to witness your story. I utilize different mediums of expression when possible and could range from art, poetry, music, and other forms of expression. I look forward to sharing a space with you to support your exploration of this new journey for a life that is more fulfilling.
